Frost School of Music presents its best and brightest Classical artists in an audience's choice competition for the Artist Launch Award

Frost Orchestras
April 17th, 7:30 p.m.

The program features the Frost Chamber Orchestra performing Wolfgang Mozart’s fiery and forceful Symphony No 35, written in 1782, and Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor, Op. 21, which the composer completed in 1830 and played the solo at the premiere in Poland that year.
The Frost Symphony Orchestra will perform Serenade for Orchestra (Movements 3 and 4) by Ulysses Kay, a prominent representative of the neoclassical school and nephew of jazz great King Oliver, along with Antonin Dvořák’s 1885 composition, Symphony No 7.
